02 My Thoughts
Solving Problems and Getting Along with Others
Problem
- The 4-step process for solving problems
- First clarify what the problem is and identify its key point
- Do not get caught up in the whirlpool of right and wrong; solve the problem first and do not let it continue
- After solving the problem, analyze why it occurred and how to prevent it next time
- Report to leaders; reassure and coach subordinates
How to avoid making the other person resentful
- Have sound reasons and evidence for everything you do
- Do not rely solely on your guesses or expectations; base what you say on facts and let the facts speak. Do not lie or make empty or exaggerated claims
- Be someone who does what they say: Be someone who can tell the truth
- Do not use profanity when speaking
- Control yourself and do not swear; do not let profanity become a way of transmitting emotions
- Control yourself and do not become confrontational, passive-aggressive, or sarcastic toward others; acknowledge the other person
- Praise others: Offer more praise to the people around you; everyone likes to be complimented. Do not speak ill of people behind their backs
- Be sincere with the people around you: Achieve unity of knowledge and action; genuinely and wholeheartedly hope that things will get better
- Behaviors that are off-putting
- Do not interrupt when someone else is speaking: Do not act as if you have a sense of superiority
- Do not make light of other people's suffering: Failing to consider the feelings of those around you; being an unapologetic freeloader
